The staff was really accommodating and efficient.
The noise from the nightclubs echoed throughout the building! To top it off, the room had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, disgusting. Not to mention, the Wi-Fi was practically useless. Only two devices could connect at a time, and if I wanted my laptop online, I had to log someone else out. What a hassle!

Brand-new and neat units on the upper floors. Strategic and ideal location - near an underground station. Again, not far from Meena Bazaar.

Nothing too much trouble, overall good old place.
Lots of options for breakfast, outstanding coffee, tea, and fresh fruit. Particularly good and unbeatable setting in the famous area, close to Al Ghubaiba Metro stations, the Indian restaurant and the Bur Dubai. For tea or coffee visit Coffeenata Cafeteria nearby.

Had real good experience, overall extremely convenient and well priced place.
Appreciated our room, it was a nice size and brand-new and had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and an individual safe. The location was strategic - close enough to the taxi stand as well as the South Indian restaurants.

Staying at Grand Astoria brought mixed feelings. The location was unbeatable, just a 10-minute walk to Al Ghubaiba bus and metro station. My room was quite spacious, with an LCD TV and a fridge, perfect for a comfortable stay. It was very neat and clean, offering complimentary snacks which was like a nice, personal touch. The breakfast spread was varied too, with a mix of traditional options and the staff even offered to prepare eggs and bacon on request. The experience was marred by noise pollution from the nightclubs located on the ground and first floors. It was constantly noisy, particularly on weekends. The smell of cigarette smoke lingered in the room, off-putting. Issues with Wi-Fi connectivity also surfaced, as only a few devices could connect simultaneously, which hindered my stay. The cute drink upon arrival was a nice gesture, but the lack of sufficient sound insulation and reliable connectivity overshadowed the positives.

I am stay in this hotel since 1985,they have my history. This time when I contacted them their rates were hi. When I booked thru Booked.net I found their rates reasonable.i like this hotel as they have bars/ dance clubs. I love to stay in this hotel and stay many many times with family and with friends and always recomand this hotel to all my friends.
They should offer complimentary airport pick and drop to all visitor of Booked.net. On this trip they provided me as special case as I informed them that I am your old customer.

A Comfortable and Convenient Stay!
The breakfast featured a great selection of vegetarian Indian dishes. We appreciated the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. Don't forget to explore nearby shopping options at Meena Bazaar for great deals!

The staff are very good. I was able to get a sim card through the reception. Room service is excellent and the bathroom is clean. Beddings are replaced and room is cleaned everyday upon request. The location is accessible to mrt, malls and food outlets. There is a Filipino eatery (Golden Fork) located at the other side of the hotel. You can get a taxi easily when you go out of the hotel. Buses for Abu Dhabi (Al Ghubaiba Station) is just a few blocks away from the hotel. Dhow cruise is near. Dubai museum is near.
At night, the disco music throbs a lot and too much people and ladies for pick up are there inside the hotel.
